General

The «General» tab of «Settings» dialogue window consists of two groups of controls: «Network settings» and «Numeration».

Network settings

The «Network settings» group of controls includes:

•	Two textboxes for designation of Rander server address and port

•	Two textboxes for calls database server address and port

•	Two textboxes for Rander server username and password.

As a rule of thumb Rander server and calls database server addresses match because Rander server stores data on the same computer it is installed to.

The default Rander server port is 5001; default calls database server port is 3060. Port numbers can be viewed in the «Application settings» window of Rander client.

«Username» and «Password» values should match one of the users stated in users.ini file located in Rander server installation folder.

Numeration

The «Numeration» group of elements consists of textboxes for area code and long-distance, international and mobile access codes. Access codes are required for the application to be able to identify different call types, which allows filtering call by type during report generation. Such functions are available in «Report filters» dialogue window.

Attention!

Rander server’s number modification table should be adjusted for a proper identification of local, long-distance, international and mobile numbers. The table can be accessed by choosing «Options» - «Number modification table» in Rander client main menu.
